Miriam L. Jacobs, Founder of the independent publishing company and discount web store, remains true to her purpose. To assist writers with their literary dreams by providing mentoring, editing, and publishing services. The primary focus is to help her client's vision reach fruition. As a poet and author, Mrs. Jacobs has endured the frustrations and obstacles that first time writers often encounter. It was through these same struggles that the impetus for publishing her own work was born.
After successfully publishing three of her books via a well-received website, Mrs. Jacobs visualized creating her own publishing company whereby all involved could enjoy a greater sense of artistic freedom and fiscal success. Yet, her greatest inspiration in building this company, and the one that continues to motivate her zeal to succeed, is to realize another dream, as well - to raise the funds necessary for her young granddaughter's continuing facial reconstructive surgeries.
It was through this combination of creative freedom, entrepreneurship, and altruism that Candalyse Publishing was born - the name itself a combined tribute to two of her three granddaughters, Candace and Alyse.
The company logo is a butterfly within a triangle - the butterfly a universal symbol of positive change through metamorphoses; the three sides of the triangle signifying the unconditional love, trust, and family spirit that this company will always aspire to embrace.
