This is a refreshing children's book full of, happy lively paintings, intimate
family pictures, a good story line and information. Kids want to know how to interact with people who look different. They
are not born with this knowledge and I am so glad to see a book like this. It gives parents a chance to read and discuss with
their kids how to be an accepting, loving friend. It is told by the little person who has been shunned by her peers. Candace
bravely tells us of her need for friendship. Her positive approach to her own trials will draw many friends to herself and
teach many valuable lessons. My grandchildren love it and took it to school where it was a great hit with classmates.
